Whether its just a nice coincidence or MOH contains a prologue mission with baby hostages we cant be sure. We can however be certain of one thing The Internet has done some damn fine work here. Keep it up

Vampires Suck really does ... SUCK!

Vampires Suck hit UK theaters this weekend. It is a parody of the popular Twilight Saga movies Twilight and New Moon. After watching the various trailers that are available on Youtube, I thought that it may be worth a watch. However, i was soon to find out that i had been horribly misled by clever marketing scheme's employed by the production company.
At the time of posting, the film has been out for just 3 days, and already has the abysmal rating of 3.3 / 10 on IMDB. Dont get me wrong, I don't always agree with the ratings on IMDB, but this one is correct.
The film starts with a scene featuring the ever popular "Team Jacob" & "Team Edward" (slogans that have plagued Facebook and Myspace since the release of New Moon) I will admit, that I found this scene rather amusing. However, from that point on, the film spirals rapidly down. The film is incredibly mind numbing and tries far to hard to be funny. Midway through the screening, I found myself on the verge of falling asleep.
For a brief moment I thought there may still be a saving grace; when in the final fifteen minutes or so of the film Ken Jeong (well known for his roles in The Hangover, Role Models & Knocked Up) appeared on screen. However, I was sadly mistaken when his character went on to do nothing of significance and ended up trying to hard to be funny.
For anyone that is planning to watch this film, I would strongly recommend against it, why not watch a decent parody such as the original Scary Movie film?

The Social Network
The Social Network opened this weekend in the UK and I was lucky enough to catch a late showing on the first day of release. As I settled in my seat drifting off through the previews of the miscellaneous rubbish Hollywood cooks up on a weekly basis I noticed the cinema begin to fill, this continued till there was a not a free seat in the house, it is at these infrequent moments in cinema when you know you are about to see something big.
The film opens to two characters partway through a discussion, immediately Eisenberg takes over the scene as his character (reminiscent of Sheldon Cooper) comes to life.
It is after this introduction that the real story begins. In this two hour masterpiece the audience is taken on a journey that defines our generation, the creation of the biggest social experiment in existence.
The film is simply phenomenal, the dialogue is unrivaled and the actors are faultless. It is unknown how much of this story is true but none the less it remains utterly gripping. This is in no way a court room drama as some may suspect (Facebook has suffered many court cases in its time) but more a film which follows characters as they adapt to their new role in society growing alongside "thefacebook". This film has is all: Drama, betrayal and a few laughs for affect, I definately encourage you all to see this film as soon as you are able.

Oops! Call of Duty: Black Ops Beta is Leaked!
However, in order for the Beta to be played, the user must be using a JTAGGED Xbox 360.
The Beta contains three playable maps named: "Cracked", "Launch" and "Summit".
The Beta highlights several flaws within the game, though these are to be expected with any Beta coded version. One key fault that has being highlighted is that some weapons cause no area specific damage, a shot will cause the same amount of damage no matter whether and an enemy is hit in the leg or the head.
Activision are currently removing any videos that users have posted to Youtube which show the contents of the Beta.

European Sales of Playstation move hit 1.5 million
Andrew House , head of Sony Computer Entertainment in Europe, has spoken to journalists in a Bloomberg television interview in Rome recently.
In the interview House spoke of how Move has enjoyed “very significant sales in the first month since launch, somewhere in the region of 1.5 million units for the new controller across just Europe,” House then went on to say “The initial sales response has been so far in excess of our initial plan that we’ll probably be looking at accelerating production.”
House predicts to see the PS3 reach profitability by the year ending march 2011. “We have lots of confidence in our ability to hit our profitability target this year,” he said. “But currency movements present significant challenges” including the “continued rapid appreciation of the yen which is a challenge for our business.” Sony will expect to see a sale of 15 million units within the coming year.

MAFIA II: the short review
Mafia II is in its most basic form a grand theft auto set in the American Mobster era. To compare it to GTA however would be the stereotypical game journalist approach - in which every open world game with cars and guns is suddenly the new Grand Theft Auto spin off.
Mafia II is the brain child of 2K Czech studios, and stays very true to its setting in every aspect. The vehicles are mostly the hulking monstrosities you would expect from this era, yet every now and then you will come across a piece of art with a roaring engine and murder doors thrown in for good measure. Driving through the streets of empire bay, you are pleased to hear a soundtrack that wouldn't be out of place in films such as Goodfellas and the Godfather. In the skies above the air force are off overseas to fight the axis threat. The classical architecture sits comfortably against streets filled with men in: suits, shirts or overalls and women in: dresses and fur coats.
This is truly a game in which no stone is left unturned to make sure the player feels totally immersed. You are quickly drawn back into the story with stories (from the lips of your best friend Joe) of what has changed since you have been at war. This is a sign of things to come, as throughout the game you find very little time to explore; always wanting to hear play the reach the next chapter of the story. The narrative is sublime, it has it all: twists, turns, murder, revenge and dark secrets. Surprisingly upon checking my statistics, upon completion, I had only killed a mere twelve civilians, who were most likely the victim of stray bullets or the odd road accident (the typical cars' handling is not exactly first class). The reason I bring this statistic forward is to demonstrate how little time I spent off mission, showing how brilliant the story really is.
In summary, this is definitely a game worth a play through, the story is perfect if short (10 hour campaign in a rush) and lacks in its replay value, there is very little in the way of side missions or mini-games. Unless, you are someone who loves this period of history, or has the ability to replay a game over and over (in the same way some people can watch the same movie week after week) then I would recommend this game as a rental, or title you buy and trade in after completion.
